Ground-breaking ceremony for a bright future

Full of anticipation, EUROBAUSTOFF management and supervisory board, project representatives from the town of Bad Nauheim, mayor Armin Häuser and director of urban development Jürgen Patscha, as well as the architect of the “In der Hub” extension project, Ralph Donnermann, threw the soil in the air.

Symbolic but concrete: EUROBAUSTOFF management and supervisory board, project representatives from Bad Nauheim town hall as well as the architect gave it their best at the ground-breaking ceremony for the extension building project of the cooperation of specialist retailers for building materials, wood and tiles.

Although the ground-breaking ceremony on 25. November was only a symbolic act due to bureaucratic burdens and building won’t start for some time, those present, the 200 Bad Nauheim employees of the EUROBAUSTOFF cooperation, celebrated the starting shot for the building work at the central location in the Wetterau after one year preparation time. After all, the planning phase is complete and, if the winter is “cooperative”, construction lorries, diggers and cranes will be able to roll up at the start of the new year. Then, during the cold time of the year, the main building phase of one of the latest EUROBAUSTOFF projects will begin.

“The extension in Bad Nauheim for 120 workplaces is more than simply an     annex building. It is the consistent continuation of a successful growth strategy during the past few years and an increasingly sophisticated provision of services and concepts for our mid-sized building materials specialist retailers,” emphasised board chairman, Ulrich Wolf. More space, more manpower and more service, on the one hand, as well as more strength with the specialist retailers, more market significance for the cooperation itself and more opportunities in European countries, on the other. “An extension creates space not only for people but also scope for new ideas, concepts, activities and training,” continued Wolf.

To successfully examine and address the future requires a sound economic basis. “And we have created this for ourselves during the past ten years under the EUROBAUSTOFF name,” says Wolf. This news was well received not only by the town of Bad Nauheim, represented by the mayor and the urban development director, but also, above all, the employees of the Bad Nauheim, Auf dem Hohenstein site. Now, not only is their “daily bread” secured but also a future with a modern workplace in familiar surroundings with many new colleagues. Good enough reason to toast the future of the employer EUROBAUSTOFF with a glass of punch or mulled wine and, with barbecued sausages, discuss plans for the move and the division of the new office space.
